Our First Project
THE ADANKWAME BOREHOLE
1st project ever
800 people Aided
13,000 Dollars Raised
focus= clean water
Our first project in Ghana took place in July 2024, when we raised approximately $13,000 to help address the water crisis in the town of Adankwame. With these funds, we installed a borehole (water storage tank pictured to the left), providing clean, sustainable water to all 800 residents in the village by drawing from the water table below.
Each year, more than 4,000 Ghanaian children die from diarrheal illnesses, with nearly 90% of these deaths directly linked to poor water quality and sanitation. While this project was a strong accomplishment, there is still much more to be done. We need your support to continue bringing life-changing access to clean water for those in need.
